RECITAL/MASTERCLASS PROGRAM

A recital can be tailored to compliment a masterclass, eg a masterclass on Baroque song can be paired with a recital of songs by Purcell, Blow and Bach. Also contemporary music masterclasses are offered working on tackling the complexities of new music and extended
vocal technique while keeping the instrument healthy, to be paired with a performance of songs by Berio,Judith Weir, Henze and Cage. Instruments vary depending on choice of recital and repertoire.

SONGS FROM IRELAND

A recital that pairs rarely heard classical music from the North of Ireland with beloved and lesser known traditional songs. Composers include Harty, Stanford, and traditional songs such as She Moved through the Fair and Down by the Sally Gardens. With piano and/or guitar.

A JOURNEY IN SONG

A concert that reflects in word and song my journey from Ireland to London, England, winning a Green Card and moving to the US. Songs include traditional Irish ballads, English folk song arrangements by Britten, and songs by Gershwin and Cole Porter. With piano.
